Seemed like the perfect fall day in New England, but of course, lining up to the start and it starts to rain, and rain it did for the entire race. Rain and a temperature around 50 made for a cold run.

Course info said "moderately challenging", when I registered the women behind the table was laughing saying how incredibly hilly the course was..hills schmillls I say. Beautiful course through apple orchards, country lanes, and nice neighborhoods.

Course was very tough, hill upon hill, long hills, steep hills, you name it hills.

Felt pretty good, haven't raced in a while and felt strong throughout, would have liked to gone faster, but all in all an honest performance. Overall time 1:08, 6:50 pace, 23 overall(about 250 in the race), 12th in my age group

23 195 MICHAEL TREVOR 12/41 M3039 SOMERVILLE MA 1:08:16 6:50

Looking forward to the 1/2 marathon this upcoming weekend.
