| I have recently started thinking about buying a property with my wife. However, as we do not have too much money, we have to plan the costs very carefully. Since there are several phases, we were thinking of looking over our budget, but are not sure if it is smart. If anyone could tell me, that would be great. Thanks in advance. |

| You are right that buying a home can cost a lot of money. Beside the obvious, the cost of the house itself, there are several other things you should count in. First, you should count a tax if the value of the house exceeds certain amount of money (it is a stamp duty tax). If you are getting a mortgage, you will need to pay certain amount of money for the process of its evaluation. Also, if you are hiring a mortgage broker, it will also cost. Then, there is a deposit you might need to give to a seller in order for him to take the house of the market, once you have struck a preliminary deal. I think that, because of all that, you should start looking over your budget. I think it is definitely the smart thing to do. |
