| Hello! Please can you give me some advice? I applied for a Privilege Account with the co-operative bank a while ago and they refused me. I have a good job now, but I am still working on paying off my student loan and I do have some pretty high debts. The Co-op told me that I have a low credit score, and this is the reason for the refusal. My question is what can I do about this? |

| Not much, is the answer. These credit scoring agencies calculate your credit score on the basis of your track record over many years. I dont know how long you have been in your current job, but if it is not too long, you probably just need to be patient. By the time you have built up your career and paid off your student loan, your credit score will have increased a lot. Then you will be able to get any account you want! |
