| I have been planning to start a business and I expect to get a pretty good profit from it. I will be mostly in trading and I seek to assure the best possible position. Now, I really hate companies who have monopoly and I do not know is there a law against it. Thanks in advance for your advice. |

| Trading is indeed one pretty tough thing to do. You need a lot of knowledge, a lot of skill and courage to make the right moves. Now mergers are pretty useful for companies that want to progress but have no way of doing it by themselves. One thing you mus absolutely be careful about is not to enter into any sort of monopolistic position with the merger. Such companies are notoriously renowned and no one likes them, but sometimes that is just a business fact. There are not laws against it in every industry (diamond industry, for example), even though this is really not something that happens for the first time in our age. Monopolistic companies were once even more widespread. I hope you find the info helpful. |
