Hi. My girlfriend and I are thinking of buying a flat together. We have kind of worked out that with both our wages together this would not be a problem. Hello. Well, I can tell you that mortgage repayments are in most cases lower than the costs of any rent. For instance I am paying around 500 on my mortgage. This will take another 18 years be paid off now. I think that this is quite a big mortgage and my friends is paying 300. But it depends on the type of mortgage, the value of the property... Talk it through with your bank!
