| I have a mortgage for a home. I have been unsatisfied with it and I would like to take another one. However, I have heard there are some hidden costs in form of exit fees I will need to pay for getting a new deal. As I have not been informed of such costs by my lender, does that mean I will not have them? Thanks for the information. |

The exit fees are, actually, much more complicated matter than simply being a fee that exists with some lenders, while others do not charge it. It is most certain that the people who pay the exit fees have been unfairly charged and have all the rights to ask for that money back. There have even been some talk that these charges are not only unfair, but they are also illegal. To find out more about all that, I suggest you go to http://www.moneyfacts.co.uk/mortgages/articles/
