I hope it is possible having multiple companies under one LLC. The thing is that I am the owner of the real estate agency and I have a wife running a restaurant and we already considered putting these two businesses under one LLC but recently we also had some talks with our potential partner who is involved in distributing foods and meals business and is willing to join us under one LLC. So my question is –is it possible having multiple companies under one LLC?

Sure it is possible and if it happens you create a single LLC with multiple companies you better give it some generic name involving all three fields of the business you will be involved in. anyway I would always suggest you take some lawyer advice on this just to make some protection steps regarding the fact that if one of your LLC business fails you risk losing everything. Anyway this is one of the risks related to the multiple companies created under one LLC but still there are some opt such as Umbrella LLC whose structure provides the protection of each business separately.
