Dear people. I am interested in getting shares in a company. A friend of mine who have shares recently recommended me this company. I have never heard of the company before in my life. Quite frankly I am a bit sceptical. Is there any way I could obtain their stock history to see whether or not such an investment might be fruitful? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

Yes, of course that is no problem! There are websites listing that kind of information. Besides, you can also contact the stock exchange to see what the history of any given company is. This is public information easily available to anyone who wants it. But my advice is that if you are just starting with shares, not to get involved in some new or unknown company nobody has never heard of.
