Hi chaps, just out of curiosity I have a question for you. At the moment I am on a temporary contract with my employer, but a soon as this period ends and my contract becomes permanent, I will qualify for the company pension scheme. Id just like to know how many people are part of occupational pension funds these days. So please, spill the beans on your pensions!

Im sure lots of people have occupational pensions these days, I would sure be surprised if any big employer doesnt run a scheme! Mind you, it is not compulsory for employers to provide pension schemes and many if not most small firms dont have schemes they can simply not afford it. To anyone without a company scheme I would say: please take out a private pension, youll be more than grateful for it later on!!
