I have a private pension scheme, but this is not suitable for me, because this pension scheme was created couple of years ago when current market conditions weren’t like this now. My friend who is working for another provider offered me to transfer my pension to another pension scheme, but I’ve heard that I could have problems with this type of transfer. Do you know something about it?
If you want to avoid all problems related to a pension transfer, you should have to go to your current provider to talk to him first. This I am telling you because I have heard that all providers under the influence of market and competition are willing to change conditions of first signed agreement. So why should you make a transfer if your current provider can offer you same. Plus you can avoid paying fees for leaving and fees for creating a new account at new provider.
