Question on fixed ratio money management

| A couple of my friends have recently mentioned using a technique called fixed ratio money management. Apparently this sees their accounts grow rapidly, without too much effort being put in. After hearing a short explanation of the method, I am quite interested. Is there anyone here who has tried it? |

| I have read a book on fixed ratio money management, and was quite impressed, although at the same time also still a bit skeptical (as one should be). I went looking for free software on the issue, but basically anyone offering this, wants to charge for it. Could it be that this is just another way to scam people out of their cash? |
