I have some questions regarding credit cards or to be more precise I would like getting for free some credit card report as well as credit score. It is that I am interested in buying a house and am thinking of applying for a mortgage but I was in serious credit card debt 2 years ago and I also had a loan with a lender at about the same time. So what do you think is it worth getting some credit card report first and where to get it from?

You may get some free credit cards report and credit scores once a year over FTC-Federal Trade Commission and in fact they would provide you a free access to your credit report and score and its central site is annualcreditreport.com where you will find all the detailed info about how to get free copy of your credit reports. And I advice you check upon this report at all three of the credit bureaus TransUnion, Equifax and Experian for it may happened that your lender has transferred all your accounts activity on each of them but also it may happened he transferred them only to one of these bureaus.
