Registering an internet retail business?

| I am planning to set up an internet retail business. It should definitely be up and running by Christmas this year, but I am sure that there is still a lot to do as far as planning and red tape is concerned. Could anyone tell me some more about this process? Is it going to be very difficult? |

| Actually, setting up an online retail business is not that much different to setting up any other classical retail business. Basically, the HM Revenue and Customs want to make sure that you are paying all the taxes you are liable for and doing everything by the book. You also need to make sure that the goods you are shipping are legal in the country you are sending them to. |
