| My husband and I are in quite a lot of debts, something which we both hate and want to get rid of. The worst thing is that most of these debts were caused by his ex! Anyway, we are considering re mortgaging to get rid of all of these debts. Should we do it or not? It is a tricky situation! |

| I did the same thing about seven years back. At the time I decided that this was a good move, as the property had risen in value considerably and I thought the move was worth it to rid myself of debts. To this day I am still very happy that I did it - I have been debt free ever since. |
