I have two mortgaged properties for last seven years. They increased in value and I’m thinking about remortgaging them to raise new capital end eventually sell both of them to buy a house. I always rented them and never lived in any of them. What is your opinion on remortgaging properties in order to raise some money?

Many people are remortgaging their properties, my friend did that recently and she’s very satisfied with the conditions of her new mortgage. But, there are also some risks involved in this action, like fees you’re expected to pay for your new mortgage. You should be very careful, and consider all advantages and disadvantages of remortgaging. It may look like a good idea now, but first you should raise some capital and then consider remortgaging.
