a blast from my past. I bought the soundtrack to "Top Gun" because it was only $8 at Sam's. Best part, is it has some tracks the original did not. (You've lost that Loving Feeling, Sitting on the Dock of the Bay, Great Balls of Fire)

It is like stepping in a time machine--it takes me right back.

What instantly takes you back to your past? A certain perfume? A song? A food?

Any time I smell funnel cake. Used to go to LOTS of fairs and farm shows when I was a kid - I worked on a farm through high school. They let me ride their horses as payment.

Different things will take me back to different times. Apples are the worst. My hometown in the NC mountains has an Apple festival every year. The street would be filled with trucks filled with Golden and Red Delicious apples. Everytime I smell a fresh apple I think of home. Smile

the smell of anais anais

the staticky sound of a baseball game on the radio reminds me of my dad and his little transitor radio listening to the Phils when I was a kid

The smell of tar always takes me back to Connecticut at my Grandparent's house. They had a tar driveway and we would lay on it to warm up after swimming in the kiddie pool. Now whenever I smell it...I'm back at Grandpa's!!!

Strange smell, but great memories! Very Happy
