Where did you learn to use financial risk management as a means of lessening exposure to risks that can be reduced? I have been trying my best, trying to read up as much as I can about financial risk management, but it seems that there are more complicated techniques that I find difficult to understand. Is there some school for financial risk management?

Sure, in the sense that financial risk management is something that banking professionals certainly have to become acquainted with while they are at university. Hedging techniques do alter according to how the market behaves and other factors that are changing all the time though, and keeping up is just as important as having the right base.

If you are interested in learning more about financial risk management, that is certainly possible with the aide of books and online resources. You will soon find that the information is always limited in some way, and will never teach you the full array of methods in financial risk management. For that, you definitely need professional training.

That is quite right - books are not the same as practical teaching along with explanations from professors, and resources that are offered on the internet are so basic that they hardly mean anything most of the time, in my humble opinion. That is not to say that these are not options you should explore if you have no alternative of course!
