| I am about to start a small business. I will not be a complete owner, as I have decided to share it with a partner, as it would be cheaper that way. However, as my new partner is not a friend I know very well, and we have a bit different opinions on running the business, this is relatively sensitive partnership, and already there are several issues. Could anyone give me any suggestion about the way to resolve this? Thanks for the help. |

| Partnerships are economically really useful, can be really profitable. Also, they could help in the first few months especially, as the running costs are much higher then. I am sure you also had all this in mind. However, there are unpleasant situations like yours and it seems to me you will have some difficulty. Unfortunately, most such disputes end up with one partner buying out another, or with selling of an entire company. Before the issues reach that point, try to find some common ground. Try to find some core concepts regarding the business running if you can, and you must be able to, being the partners, if only for a short time. Hope you find this helpful. |
