| Hello, folks. I am planning starting a business. I would like my business office to be in a residential flat. I would like to know whether this is possible. I haven’t got much experience in this area, so I could use all the help I can get. Thanks for your support. |

| Hello. It is possible, of course. You must register first your home office at URA. In that way you want to make sure your business will follow the rules of Home Office guidelines. URA will observe how your business influences on “living environment”. If there are complaints, URA can terminate the business. Some businesses are not allowed at residential flat. Those are mostly the ones that need frequent visitors that might make some inconveniences to the tenants. I hope everything will go smoothly. Good luck! |
