| Hi. I am a student living away from home for the first time in my life. My parents, who are living on the other side of the country, are helping my out financially by putting a certain amount of money into my credit card each month. Besides that I have also found a part time job as a waitress in a restaurant. I still find I can't make ends meet. I think I urgently need a budget in order to make sure I don't over spend. How do I set that up? |

| Hello. Good on you for thinking about your finances in a serious and grown up manner. Not many students take such a responsible attitude towards their money and I am sure that this will pay off! What should you do next? If you have a computer you can make a list of al your spendings and all your income. See where you can still save. And stick to the budget. If you still have money left at the end of each month you can plan what to do with that. |
