| I have recently started working in a company and as I have seen there is no Comparable Worth there. I would like to know is that something that is common, or I should I sue my firm for not applying Comparable Worth. If anyone could tell me more, I would be grateful. Thanks in advance. It really means a lot. |

| Comparable worth, or pay equity system, is something that should be put into force into every company. It is basically a system which makes everyone's pay same regardless of any other differences except of those that are strictly related to efficiency and producing profit. Gender, religious orientation and other similar differences are not relevant. You should talk to your supervisors about that, but too aggressively. Suing is probably not too instructive, although if such a policy is too drastic in its application and even demeaning, you should consider some such action. For some more info, go to http://www.payequityresearch.com/worth.htm. |
