I have recently moved, and my car needs a check up. Since it is a very expensive car, I am very worried that something will actually happen to it while it is at the garage. When I told them about this, they said that they have Garage Liability Insurance, which will cover any damage done it the car while it is with them. Can I trust this?

Of course you can, as much as any other insurance can be trusted. Anyway, I think it is very unlikely that something is going to happen to your car. And if it does, they can probably fix it on the spot without you ever having realised that something was wrong with it in the first place. Don't worry too much.

Are you sure that you should go to that particular garage if you already have no trust in them at all? Talking about insurance, you may wish to ring up the company that does your regular car insurance and ask them to recommend you any garages and repair shops in your area, as they usually have a list.
