| Hello there everyone. My name is Eric and I would like to ask you something about stock trade. I am interested about specific time in the day when you trade, at the end of the day. Can you tell me for what price are you trading and how? Thank you in advance for your posts. |

| Hello there Eric. Well, you can trade not just stocks, but all the securities at the end of each trading day. That price is called closing price. However, securities can be traded after the official end of trading, so sometimes closing price is not the actual price. But, it can serve as useful information for investors. So, some investors often use closing price. In order to trade that way, you have to use so called closing orders. Closing orders give direction to the broker to buy or sell securities at the closing time for the price which is closest to the closing price. Basically, that would be all. I hope that I was of some help. |
