Hi there. I'm new to the forum and just starting to research the possibility of starting a business. I've been presented with a very interesting project in another state (far away). If it comes through (and it looks likely) I'll need to quit my job and become an independent consultant to do it. And we want to take this opportunity to move out there.
Here's the problem: they'll probably want me to start before I can move out there. So I guess I'll need to set up the LLC in my current home state and then move the LLC a few months later.
Is this possible? Is this wise? Is there a better solution I should consider?
