Stating a fund strategy in a prospectus

| I am looking into investing in some way. The possibilities are seemingly endless and I have come across just about everything in the book so far. I have a question as a result of this search of mine. Is stating a fund strategy in a prospectus a good idea, and how common is this? Have you seen that around? |

| Sometimes this happens and sometimes it does not. It all depends on the fund in question and about their aims, and ways in which they plan on attracting investors. There is no hard and fast rule in any case. Why are you asking? Do you see this as something beneficial or not? |
