| Hi everyone. I am in my early thirties now and as I have been waiting and waiting for the "love of my life", who still hasn't turned up, I have now finally made the decision to buy a property all on my own. I have a reasonable idea of what would meet my needs, and what my budget is. Can you suggest any strategies for buying home? Thanks ever so much for your comments. |

| First of all, I want to warn you about estate agents that suggest you to get your mortgage arranged through them. They are out to get the largest commsion possible without paying attention to what is the best for you as the buyer. In fact, shop around for mortages before you start house hunting so that you have a good idea of what is possible. |
