Hello everyone. I have been unemployed for some time now. All day, every day, I just surf the net looking for jobs on websites like monsterboard. Now I have come across this job offer which looks pretty interesting. It is for a job "on the internet", that is, working from home. Sounds very appealing. But is it? Do I have to pay taxes on this?

Of course you have to pay taxes. Whether you go into an office each day, or are a salesperson on the road a lot of the time, or a self employed worker, or indeed working from home, on the web, as a law abiding citizen you are obliged to pay taxes. You should that your employed pays your national insurance contributions. This is extremely important as well as mandatory. After you what would you without even the most basic form of security?
