Hello, I’m Vincent, ME, I’ve been trying to found a company which would produce something unique in the market. I never had any success since those products were imported from Europe, simply because of better price in comparison to one I offered. I decided to buy a franchise and work for a multinational company. Do you think I have any right regarding tax relief?

Hi Vincent, I’m not from ME, but from NY and I could tell you only for the regulations of New York. Well, I’m running a small company, we manufacture various sorts of pads. It’s completely our project, so we’re not under any franchise. State of NY is going to help small companies by excluding them from the tax system. We shall not pay corporate income tax when this plan is realized. When I was informing myself on this matter I clearly read that franchisees won’t pay tax, only that I’m not sure for how many years. This way they’d like to help creating new jobs and prevent young people and families from leaving New York.
