In my company I am temporary worker for a long time, it is interesting – things are not going to change soon. I have even asked my superior to help me get a better position; it is like that for years. I was wondering, is he paying less for temporary workers? Is that what this is all about? I would like to know more about taxes for temporary workers, can you help me understand?

I don’t think that taxes are reason why he is keeping you as temporary worker. Really, temporary workers cost just a little less that full time employees, for as much as I know, in my company there were temporary workers and they are all now full timed. You should try to search for reasons in another situation, maybe he has a limit that he mustn’t reach considering a number of employees, maybe there are workers paid as full-time while they only work for couple of hours, who knows… Can you ask him?
