| I hope that you people have some tips to spare for a woman who is about to become manager for the first time in her life! For the time being I will have a small team under my control, all of which are very experienced in their jobs, and some of which are my former co workers. Can you give some some tips? |

| Lead the team in a direct and firm manner, and be clear about your expectations. But - and this is very important for those who used to work with you! - do not place yourself above the other workers, in terms of constantly pointing out that you are the boss. They know this, so just get on with the job. |
