The most important techniques of word of mouth marketing?

| I think that there is not a single company that would not like to achieve a word of mouth, and know how to go about it. Yet for me, the concept of word of mouth marketing is still relatively abstract. I am not sure what the most important techniques are of word of mouth marketing. Can you tell me more about this? |

| There are some good examples of companies which have set up "online communities" on special websites, and that these websites have got the positive vibes or buzz going. But word of mouth marketing is always a bit of a risk in my opinion, and injecting funds may have no results whatsoever, or sometimes even negative effects. |

| One effective way to encourage good word of mouth is by maintaining a good relationship with your current customers. You can turn your loyal group of customers into advertisers - when they share to their friends the positive experiences they had in using your products/services. |
