Hello! I have invested some money to shares but now I'm thinking about other options. Shares seem a bit risky, so I would like to consider another way of investment. I've heard that ISA now offers stakeholder products. I would like some information on stakeholder ISAs. What do you think about transfering my private shares to ISA?

| ISAs are very popular accounts and now there are options which allow consumers some stakeholder products. These products are stakeholder deposit, medium-term investment product also known as MTIP, smoothed MTIP, pension and child trust fund. Cash component of ISA if you got a stakeholder deposit account is regulated with many benefits for consumer. There is a minimum deposit of only 10 pounds and you wouldn't pay any charges. You can pay to this account in many ways and make withdrawals any time you need it. When you withdraw expect money within a week and you don't have to worry if it's an inconvenient moment of withdrawal. Stocks and shares component of ISA is related with medium-term investment products. Percentage of money invested in shares is up to 60 of total investment so it's safer then your current investment. Minimum deposit is also low, up to 20 pounds and you can also pay in different ways. Smoothed MTIP provides extra terms and it represents some extra money saved in safe. If you have a good financial year exceed would be kept in case of bad financial years. In my opinion transferring to ISA would be a good choice because many benefits are provided. |
