Hi everyone. Could you give me some general information in regard to the unlocking of my pension? I have high debts, and I currently see no other way out than unlocking my pension. What do you think about that? I know that it is a bit of a drastical step, but what else can I do? Will it affect the state pension that I will get later on? Please advise.
Know that unlocking your pension is an extremely high risk, high loss option for every body. Although, as you know, it can give you access to the money you so much need, it will deprive you of the same money you will so much need when you do retire. Personally I firmly believe that pension releases are very rarely a good thing to do. Think twice, three times... get all the info. Or don't do it!
