I am seriously thinking of switching jobs after having been with the same company for 13 long years now. The company just is not the same anymore. A lot of people have been made redundant and the employer has also changed its attitude towards the workers. It is just not a nice place to work anymore. How can I best present a resume to potential new employers? There is not much to tell as I have been with this company for so long now. How should I sell myself?
Hi. More than likely you have had at least several different functions with this employer, make sure you realise what skills you have gained in this period. Have a look on the internet at other people's CVs to gain inspiration. Do be truthful mind you - lying doesn't help anyone as they will probably check with your current employer. Show your CV to friend to get their opinions too. They know you the best after all, and may see qualities in you you don't see yourself.
