I was wondering if somebody could help me understand when I am obligated to pay for value added tax and when I am not, actually, what kind of goods are under that tax. I have gathered some valuable things in order to sell them but I am afraid that enormous percentage will be lost for the benefit of value added tax. I live in EU so if some person knows more about laws here it would be good to tell.

It depends definitely on your country’s laws, for as much as I am involved in that matter they all take significant percentage, but I can’t tell you how high it will be for you. When I was selling my possessions, while moving to another city, I suffered great losses because of taxes, so now I am always searching for alternative ways to sell something that has a bit bigger value.
