I have a hard time choosing between vertical or horizontal business model for I need to solve this business structure issue. I am running a small business for months now and am also willing to develop it on the network bases and anyway I am already involved in business network cooperating with 2 other independent business for that is how I planned on achieving my business goals and I actually came to the point where I need to decide upon my business network structure. So I would greatly appreciate any info what would be the best choice vertical or horizontal business model.
You are running your business along with 2 more of your partners dealing with the same sort of business and I would suggest you try with vertical business network for this way you could get into interrelated business connections where each of the firm depends on the other one and if your product is of complex kind than the vertical business structure is the right opt for you. And as for the horizontal business structure it is more for those companies operating in the same sort of industry and are very similar in their skills and network approach and are much more developed and involved in purchasing, training and marketing as well as in export and trade on the international bases. So I guess the vertical business structure would fit you the most.
