My wife is a great cook and since I’m sick and tired of working for various bosses who always suck life out of me, I have decided to start my own family business. As you can guess from my first sentence, that would be a restaurant. But I know almost nothing about the necessary documentation and financial issues when it comes to this. What I need for starting a restaurant business?

That is a good idea, because if you run this business appropriately, it can pay of a great deal. I think that what you need is a good business plan because only that way you can find banks and other financial institutions willing to give you a business loan, without which you can’t start the business, unless you have some large amount of money of your own, but since I doubt that you do, then start collecting documentation about applying for a loan. You will also need some qualified staff and if your wife is only a natural’ then she would have to take some cooking courses, and meanwhile you should find at least one or two good and skilled professional chefs. After that everything will be much easier.
