What I need to know about stamp duty for first time buyers?

| Hello everyone. I am a single woman looking to buy very soon. Of course I want to know everything that I need to around buying for first time buyers before I go ahead. Stamp duty for instance... What do I need to know? Are there any exemptions for first time buyers? |

| Indeed there are! Whoever told you this was right. First time buyers are exempt from Stamp Duty if they are buying a property of between 30sq m and 125 sq m. This is set out in the Stamp Duties Consolidation Act 1999 - have a look at this to check the small print. |
