| Setting up new business is complicated! I would like to start offering my electrical repair services to other people expect just my friends and family. But... I am unsure how to go about this and I am only just discovering that there are thousands of different shapes and forms that a business can have. This is giving me a head ache! What is LLC and DBA? Please help me! |

| Filing for a DBA seems like a good idea for you. You want to keep it simple. You are basically a private person offering your professional services on a small scale basis. That is - a sole proprietorship is a good solution for you. If you do not want to operate under your own name, but choose a name for your business, you file a DBA. It is as simple as that. |
