| I have recently started a business with web domains. I intend on selling these, and I hope it will be successful. I have heard somewhere that the escrow agent is very important in these matters, but I am really not sure just what the escrow is. If anyone could help me with some info, that would be great. Thanks in advance. |

| Everything you sell carries with it a certain risk. It seems to me that sometimes can be risky because one of the parties can fail to do its part of the job. That is why the escrow is there. It means holding the funds of one of the parties, in your case buyer, until you agree upon all the terms, and arrange a definite deal. It is a type of service that should protect both the you and the buyer. Now, the escrow agent is, of course, the one who will be holding the money, and I strongly suggest you have one, or hire one before starting up with the deal. Best of luck. |
