| I am self-employed for… say, entire life. My wife works with me, we are still very much working and I’m planning to give the business to my children when I decide to retire. Only problem is in the fact that we both never considered pension, we were not thinking about that at all. What are our pension options, do we have right to any receiving after retirement? |

| I guess that you should not worry if you start paying for your pension on time. I think, but I am not so sure, that minimum years required for you to get that pension is around 10 years, and it depends on the amount you’ll be paying, how high your pension will be in the end. Also, you can chose to take the money at once, but I guess that is not what you want now. You should, however, ask if you have some legal right to get a state pension, who knows what was paid for you. |
