| Hi. I am interested in a personal loan to cover some expenses I am going to be having in the near future. As I have never taken out a loan before - my mortgage not included, after al in real terms, that is a loan too - I am wondering how this works. I would like to pay the amount I need, a reasonably big one, off over the longer term. Will that be possible? |

| That depends on many factors. First if all, I guess, on what you consider to be a "longer term". Secondly you need to find out what kind of terms and conditions different loan companies and banks provide. I am currently paying off a loan over five years, now being in the second year. I think that this is a realistic term. The repayments should not be too much of a strain to repay. |
