| Marketing is the most important part if you want to get something started. Marketing techniques are so widely used now that I don’t know one area of life that is not using some of these strategies. I am interested in small business to be precise. What are common marketing techniques for small business? What do you use? |

| You can use all the strategies that are known to man and are used in any other field. I prefer online marketing. Online ads are the future and I see o reason t run away from this. I think that many people will see your advertisement on the internet then they will see in newspaper or on the TV. I use online marketing for about 90% of all marketing that I do and I invest the most time online doing some advertisement campaigns. I have a precise schedule and I think that this is the most money return that I ever got from any advertisement campaign. |

Another strategy is integrating online with offline. I use a Desktop Voice Broadcasting system to contact prospects from my online ventures as well as other sources (e.g. lead lists, "harvesting", etc.). I find this maximizes the reach of your biz- "both and" rather than "either or".
I can contact 1000 prospects in a half hour for about $20 and only talk with the ones who contact me. Then I can send them to my website, an archived or live webinar, etc. Much more fun being the "Hunted" rather than the "Hunter".
Couple this with your online presence (making sure your tapped into SEO, web 2.0, etc.) to really explode your business.
