Hello there everybody. I would appreciate if you could tell me something about credit risk. I heard that there are professionals who deal with credit risk. It would be great if you could give me the explanation f credit risk and what is that those people do. What are organisations for credit risk professionals? Thank you.

Hello hello. I think that I can give you some basic information about this. Credit risk is a risk which lender takes when giving some credit or loan to the borrower. It is a risk that the loan won’t be paid back. Credit risk professionals are people who estimate that risk. They usually work for banks and other credit providers. Taking into account financial history of the applicant, credit risk professionals give advice provider whether to approve the loan or not. There are organisations which regulate this profession, such as RMA. They also provide education and certification. Well, that is all I can tell you. I hope that I managed to explain this answer to you. Bye!
