Good evening folks, I’m Gary from London. I have with profit endowment policy which I’d like to sell. I wouldn’t like to pay the premium anymore, it takes away a significant part of my wage which is almost halved. I’d like to know what are the options for trading and what are the conditions which this policy has to fulfill?

You’ll have to contact your endowment providers in order to find out if you can sell your with-profit endowment policy or not. There are certainly some rules, not all policies could be tradable. And whether your is, depends on the policy of the provider and the certain things which you have agreed upon. There is only a general rule, and it is that you have to be paying the premium for 5 years at least so that you can sell the policy. Anyway, beside contacting the endowment provider ask for a professional advice also so that you could be sure about your right and so that you don’t lose your money.
