| Several days ago I was talking to my friends about financial intermediaries and their functions, I was keen on proving them how irrelevant is their role sometimes, I mean – it is not like that by default, but it happens… anyway, I don’t want to get in the subject too much, I’ll only ask you what do financial intermediaries provide the market function with? At the moment this is the only thing that bugs me. |

| If I’m not mistaken, you are talking about banks and some other financial institutions, for these are the most common case of financial intermediaries. They are going to provide wide range of services and some of them are for borrowers, while others are meant for lenders to use. And there are commissions, normally. Well, if you were referring to something different, you should specify. It is really too wide range of services to discuss at the moment. |
