What do you consider Cold Calling?

| I am about to start with a small home based business and am curious actually what do you consider cold calling and would this approach also help me in developing my little business. I am about to start selling some home décor products and I am just at the beginning so someone suggested this cold calling approach to start with. So what do you think about this cold calling? |

| I don’t think anything great about cold calling. I remember when I was about to start selling certain cosmetic products I started with this cold calling approach and if you ask me on this now I would answer it is actually a sort of stupid management. Anyway cold calling is when you take a phone book or whatever and start calling people around –people that you don’t know-and trying to describe them what you sell and so on. All I did manage with this cold calling advertisement opt was just to lose my precious time without any descent result. |
