What do you look for in a good estate agent?

Hi. My wife and I started to search for a house two months ago without any luck. Every house we saw was a wreck, and I’m starting to lose faith that we’ll ever find a house for us. We are in contact with our estate agent, but it looks like he’s doing nothing for us. What should we look for in a good estate agent?

It is obvious that your agent is not good at all. Every professional gives his best service to potential buyers and also tries to find a proper house for them. They usually know what type of the house you need and won’t bother you with going to places knowing that you won’t like the house. When I was buying a house my estate agent was calling me every day with new information and suggestions which house I should come and see. With his help we were even able to lower the price of the house and finish all paperwork in very short time.
