Recently in a conversation I have heard about futures equivalent. I must admit that I have never heard about the existence of such a term. I was very surprised because I thought I knew enough about futures options. I guess I was wrong. Can you explain to me what is Futures-equivalent? Thank you all for making a comment.

Hello, unfortunately I have to admit that this term of futures equivalent does not ring a bell in my case. I used to read a little about futures options and trading options. At first it was new and very interesting for me but after while I got bored. Concerning your question I can only recommend someone experienced or internet.

Hello, first of all I would like to say that when it comes to futures options you can never say that you know enough. That would be a lie. There are so many things that even the people who deals with this on a daily basis do not know for sure. Concerning your question about futures equivalent you can get it by multiplying number of options with the previous day’s risk factor.
