Hello,
I work for a government department, and am due to go on a training course next week. Im not exactly sure what we will be doing, but the term knowledge management is mentioned all the time in our office. Apparently it has something to do with human resources. I can guess what this might mean, but then, I might be completely wrong. Can someone explain this to me please!? Thanks very much!

| Knowledge Management is the managing of all aspects of knowledge in a company: employees skills, the development of their knowledge, transferring knowledge within the organization, measure the value of knowledge and so on. The idea of a learning workforce is central to knowledge management. There are several approaches to the concept, some focused towards technology, others towards human resources. I hope this is of help. Im curious to know how your course goes. Let us know what youve learnt! |
